Avast! 4 Professional Edition

After installation, the Avast Professional Edition asks if you want to schedule an antivirus scan of  local hard drives at system start. You'll notice two icons in your  tray after installing Avast Professional Edition: one to configure the functions and another to activate the virus recovery database.

Well-designed, Avast Professional scans P2P programs (such as Kazaa, Limewire, and Morpheus), executables, inbound and outbound e-mails . Instant messages  are inspected for harmful viruses as well. Avast Professional Edition was able to block  common file operations such as renaming and deleting, URLs.

Avast Professional Edition did slow down our system while using other programs and surfing  . Many of its configurations require intermediate know-how or better. Fortunately, Avast Professional Edition has a generous 60-day trial.Avast Professional safeguards your system at optimum levels.

BitDefender reviews 2009

Two widely known magazines, Computer Shopper and PC world, promoted BitDefender as a great product for a great price. With customers looking for quality products without high prices, BitDefender is the perfect choice.

PC World reviewed BitDefender's Internet Security and found that Internet Security "offers good protection for a great price." BitDefender was the least expensive suite ($39.95 for 1 PC) that they tested and the product performed extremely well. In the end, BitDefender's Internet Security provides protection that "won't hit your wallet hard" making it an excellent product for you to promote to your online customers!

Next, Computer Shopper has declared BitDefender's Total Security 2009 "among the leading personal security packages on the market and one of the best we've tested." Computer Shopper was impressed with BitDefender 's new features that include, and are not limited to, well-organized main screen, excellent range of security tools, strong help system, and quick installation. BitDefender's Total Security 2009 retails for $69.95 for one user.
